Jackie has written two short plays that have received staged readings at the regional theatre, Horizon Theatre Company.
Jackie has taken part in six different professional new play development workshops with the Omaha Theater Company, including play development for three plays that received their world-premieres at the Rose Theater.
Jackie taught the Young Playwrights class for teens with award-winning playwright, Brian Guehring, at The Rose Theater. She also conducted playwriting residencies at middle schools in Omaha and San Francisco.
She also organized the regional Young Playwrights for Change competition in Omaha and was a part of the National Curriculum Development Board for Young Playwrights for Change and the Regional Planning and Communication Board for Young Playwrights for Change.
