Jackie Kappes is currently the Director of Education at The Rose Theater. Before returning to the The Rose she worked as a drama therapist with students and their families.
Jackie completed her Masters in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Drama Therapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies. She is a Registered Drama Therapist. She has previously worked with Shanghai Children's Art Theater, Seattle Children's Theatre, Lexington Children's Theatre, 7 Stages International Theatre, Bay Area Children's Theatre, San Francisco Playback Theater, StageWrite, SFArts, Ensemble Theatre of Chattanooga, Chattanooga Theatre Centre, Chattahoochee Shakespeare Company and No Shame Theatre of Columbus. |
Experience Since she has worked in theatres all over the country as a teaching artist, director, playwright, curriculum developer, actor, stage manager curriculum developer and administrator.
